  • 05/05/08 Shadwell F.C. defeat League Champions Green Dragon F.C. 2-1 at Thetford Town F.C. to win the League Knock Out Florida Cup. Shadwell find themselves a goal down after only 2 minutes, but equalize with an unfortunate Patrick Armes own goal on 60 minutes. Luke Catchpole nets the winner for Shadwell on 83 minutes to complete a great fightback and ensure that the cup is on its way to Shadwell Park!
  • 21/04/08   Shadwell F.C. clinch second place in the BADSFL in only their second competitive season after defeating Ashill Harts F.C. 7-1 at Shadwell Park.
  • 13/04/08   Shadwell F.C. make their first ever cup final as a club after defeating Red Lion F.C. 4-2 after extra time in the Semi-Final of the League Cup. John Moore scores a penalty to equalise at 1-1, before "Super Sub" James Dean comes off the bench to net a fine hat-trick and secure a well deserved victory. Shadwell will face League Champions Green Dragon in the final after they defeated Greyhound Inn 4-3 in the other Semi-Final match. The Final will be held at Thetford Town F.C. on Sunday 4th May 2008.
  • 28/03/08   Shadwell F.C. hope to include the versatile Kenny Brooks, goalkeeper Tony Carpenter and midfielders Luke and Matt Catchpole in their squad for this Sunday's away match at Breckland Spirit. Craig Bibby, Tommy Dean, Daniel Lott (all personal commitments), Alex Dagraca (ankle) and Ray Lott (suspended) are unavailable for the clash.
  • 16/03/08   Shadwell F.C. move up to second place in the league table after their 6-2 away victory at Redcastle Storm.
  • 05/03/08   Shadwell F.C. can officially confirm today that Kenny Brooks has put pen to paper and signed for the club. Manager Matt Spencer is delighted with his new signing and is confident that Brooks registration will go through in time for him to be included in the squad for Sunday's home fixture against Feltwell Social Club. Spencer stated "Kenny was impressed with the whole set-up and facilities at Shadwell and I'm extremely pleased he has made the decision to come on board.
  • 24/02/08   It has been agreed that Shadwell's scheduled away match against Green Dragon this Sunday will now be played at Shadwell Park.
  • 10/02/08   Shadwell F.C. defeat league leaders Danepak F.C. 5-0 at Breckland Leisure Centre to record an excellent victory. Matt Catchpole, Alyn Rourke, Luke Catchpole, Steven Davies and James Dean net the goals for the visitors.
  • 27/01/08   Shadwell F.C. record their biggest victory to date with a 21-0 away victory against F.C. Ashill in the league. Alyn Rourke (5), Luke Catchpole (3), Steven Davies (3), James Dean (3), Alex Dagraca (2), Daniel Lott, Ray Lott, John Moore, Dean Sofley and an own goal complete the scoring.
  • 24/01/08   It has been confirmed today by the BADSFL  that Bridge F.C. have withdrawn from the league with immediate effect. All records obtained against the Bridge have been deleted.
  • 23/01/08   Shadwell striker Simon Richards has left the club to join Breckland Spirit F.C. Everyone at Shadwell would like to wish "Knocker" all the best at his new club.
  • 14/01/08   It has been agreed that the League Cup Second Round away match against Lakenheath Casuals this Sunday will be now be played at Shadwell Park.
  • 11/01/08   Due to Sunday's league encounter against the Bridge being postponed, Shadwell have brought forward their home match with Lakenheath Casuals as a replacement fixture.
  • 11/01/08   Shadwell's scheduled away league match at Bridge F.C. this Sunday has been postponed. The match will be arranged at a later date.
  • 11/01/08   Shadwell striker James Hibbert has decided to retire from Sunday football due to personal commitments. The 31 year old marksman made 75  career appearances for the club, scoring an impressive 55 goals. Shadwell F.C. would like to thank "Hibby" for being a big part of the club as a player and committee member and wish him all the best for the future.
  • 02/01/08   Shadwell F.C. will now play their re-arranged League Cup Second Round match away to Lakenheath Casuals on Sunday 20th January 2008 due to the game previously being postponed due to a frozen pitch.
  • 29/12/07   Shadwell F.C. have completed the signing of ex Rose & Crown F.C. midfielder Michael Brown today. Manager Matt Spencer is delighted with the new addition and has included him in the the squad for Sunday's league match away to Greyhound Inn F.C.
  • 19/12/07   The League Cup Second Round match against Lakenheath Casuals on Sunday 23rd December 2007 will be played at Shadwell Park  as Lakenheath's pitch has been deemed "unplayable".
  • 10/12/07   Shadwell F.C. will face Haig F.C. away in the Quarter Finals of the Norfolk County Sunday Intermediate Cup. The tie will be played on Sunday 6th January 2008 and therefore the original away league fixture against the Green Dragon will be re-scheduled for a later date.
  • 21/11/07   Shadwell F.C. have officially confirmed today that cultured midfielder Tony Cornwall has decided to retire from both Saturday and Sunday football in order to concentrate on his music and "DJ ing" career. Cornwall has stated that he is happy to remain registered to the club should they require his services due to regular players picking up injuries, suspensions and being unavailable due to work commitments. The club would like to wish Tony all the best for the future.
  • 07/11/07   Shadwell F.C. have been rewarded with a home tie against Porterhouse F.C. in the 4th round of the Norfolk County Sunday Intermediate Cup. The Kings Lynn based side have a good record within the competition and will undoubtedly be difficult opponents for the BADSFL club. The tie will be played on Sunday 2nd December and therefore the original home league fixture against Rose & Crown F.C. will be re-scheduled for a later date.
  • 29/10/07   Ray Lott has agreed to be Manager Matt Spencer's number 2 by accepting the Assistant Manager role at the club. Ray will continue to play for the club but will now have a more in depth part to play at Shadwell F.C.
  • 23/10/07   Shadwell F.C. would like to congratulate Ron and Joyce Lott on celebrating their 30th Wedding Anniversary yesterday. The club would also like to wish Alyn Rourke and his new wife all the best on getting wed recently too. Congratulations to all of you.
  • 12/10/07   Shadwell F.C. face a difficult away tie to P.L. Rangers in the 3rd round of the Norfolk County Sunday  Intermediate Cup. The match will take place on Sunday 4th November 2007.
  • 05/10/07   Shadwell F.C. have completed the signing of former Green Dragon striker Simon Richards as they look to boost their attacking options. Shadwell are already without strikers Laurence Breen (achilles), Ron Lott (back) and Alyn Rourke (honeymoon). Richards goes straight into the squad for Sunday's Intermediate County Cup match against Norfolk County Council Social Club F.C.
  • 26/09/07   Shadwell F.C. have been dealt a massive blow today as they have confirmed that striker Laurence Breen snapped his achilles in Sunday's match with Red Lion F.C. The 33 year old marksman will be out of action for at least 9 months. Manager Matt Spencer and all of the Shadwell F.C. squad wish "Breeny" a speedy and full recovery.
  • 14/09/07   Shadwell F.C. have strengthened their squad further today by signing striker Matthew Hodges. The 22 year old has got Ridgeons League experience behind him having previously played for Dereham Town F.C. and Thetford Town F.C. respectively.
  • 12/09/07   Shadwell F.C. have been drawn at home against Norfolk County Council Social Club in the 2nd round of the Norfolk County Sunday Intermediate Cup. The tie will take place on Sunday 7th October 2007.
  • 30/08/07   Shadwell's scheduled home match against the Green Dragon on Sunday 9th September has been postponed and will be re-scheduled by the league for a future date.
  • 21/08/07   Darren Clay has committed his future to Shadwell F.C. today by signing for the club. The young left back played for Dragon Athletic F.C. last season.
  • 18/08/07   Ray Lott will captain Shadwell F.C. for the first time tomorrow against Wortham Dolphin as Club Captain Mark Dean and Vice Captain Daniel Lott are both unavailable for selection.
  • August 2007   Matt Spencer has strengthened his squad further by signing the  versatile Simon Hargrove from Redcastle Storm and midfielder Paul Dives who had previously played for the Green Dragon. Goalkeeper Colin Tyms and defender Daniel Rayner have also put pen to paper and signed for the club too.

  • July 2007   Shadwell F.C. have announced another key capture for the club by signing ex Redcastle Storm captain Raymond Lott to the club. Player / Manager Matt Spencer stated that "Ray would bring more experience and strength to the squad.
  • July 2007   Shadwell F.C. have strengthened their squad significantly before the start of the forthcoming season with the new signings of Laurence Breen, Tommy Brown, Matt Catchpole, Steve Crawshaw, Alex Dagraca and John Moore. Player/Manager Matt Spencer has stated that there still maybe one or two new faces to come into the squad before the big kick-off.
