| Club News 05/05/08 Shadwell F.C. defeat League Champions Green Dragon F.C. 2-1 at Thetford Town F.C. to win the League Knock Out Florida Cup. Shadwell find themselves a goal down after only 2 minutes, but equalize with an unfortunate Patrick Armes own goal on 60 minutes. Luke Catchpole nets the winner for Shadwell on 83 minutes to complete a great fightback and ensure that the cup is on its way to Shadwell Park!
13/04/08 Shadwell F.C. make their first ever cup final as a club after defeating Red Lion F.C. 4-2 after extra time in the Semi-Final of the League Cup. John Moore scores a penalty to equalise at 1-1, before "Super Sub" James Dean comes off the bench to net a fine hat-trick and secure a well deserved victory. Shadwell will face League Champions Green Dragon in the final after they defeated Greyhound Inn 4-3 in the other Semi-Final match. The Final will be held at Thetford Town F.C. on Sunday 4th May 2008.
28/03/08 Shadwell F.C. hope to include the versatile Kenny Brooks, goalkeeper Tony Carpenter and midfielders Luke and Matt Catchpole in their squad for this Sunday's away match at Breckland Spirit. Craig Bibby, Tommy Dean, Daniel Lott (all personal commitments), Alex Dagraca (ankle) and Ray Lott (suspended) are unavailable for the clash.
10/02/08 Shadwell F.C. defeat league leaders Danepak F.C. 5-0 at Breckland Leisure Centre to record an excellent victory. Matt Catchpole, Alyn Rourke, Luke Catchpole, Steven Davies and James Dean net the goals for the visitors.
27/01/08 Shadwell F.C. record their biggest victory to date with a 21-0 away victory against F.C. Ashill in the league. Alyn Rourke (5), Luke Catchpole (3), Steven Davies (3), James Dean (3), Alex Dagraca (2), Daniel Lott, Ray Lott, John Moore, Dean Sofley and an own goal complete the scoring.
11/01/08 Shadwell striker James Hibbert has decided to retire from Sunday football due to personal commitments. The 31 year old marksman made 75 career appearances for the club, scoring an impressive 55 goals. Shadwell F.C. would like to thank "Hibby" for being a big part of the club as a player and committee member and wish him all the best for the future.
21/11/07 Shadwell F.C. have officially confirmed today that cultured midfielder Tony Cornwall has decided to retire from both Saturday and Sunday football in order to concentrate on his music and "DJ ing" career. Cornwall has stated that he is happy to remain registered to the club should they require his services due to regular players picking up injuries, suspensions and being unavailable due to work commitments. The club would like to wish Tony all the best for the future.
05/10/07 Shadwell F.C. have completed the signing of former Green Dragon striker Simon Richards as they look to boost their attacking options. Shadwell are already without strikers Laurence Breen (achilles), Ron Lott (back) and Alyn Rourke (honeymoon). Richards goes straight into the squad for Sunday's Intermediate County Cup match against Norfolk County Council Social Club F.C.
- July 2007 Shadwell F.C. have announced another key capture for the club by signing ex Redcastle Storm captain Raymond Lott to the club. Player / Manager Matt Spencer stated that "Ray would bring more experience and strength to the squad.
- July 2007 Shadwell F.C. have strengthened their squad significantly before the start of the forthcoming season with the new signings of Laurence Breen, Tommy Brown, Matt Catchpole, Steve Crawshaw, Alex Dagraca and John Moore. Player/Manager Matt Spencer has stated that there still maybe one or two new faces to come into the squad before the big kick-off.
